Please, SOMEONE stop them
Theyre making a movie of IronMan, right? Great idea. Two problems, though: Robert Downey Jr. is Tony Stark, aka IronMan. Terrence Howard, who was in Hustle & Flow and other useless bunk movies, is WAR MACHINE. HOW DO YOU PICK A WEENIE TO PLAY WAR MACHINE?!
The name alone implies a brawny guy with a history of violence who lives only for the destruction of his foes, and they cast an actor with a voice like Michael Jackson. It becomes more and more evident to me that marketers have no connection with the people they market to.
In better news: They're making a movie of John Carter of Mars, one of the great epics of Edgar Rice Burroughs. Maybe...just maybe...they wont screw it up. Remember the last time they made a movie based on Burroughs' writings? It was Tarzan. The kids movie. Oy.

I am not sure I would've chosen these actors either... oh well, maybe Iron Man was a cokehead and we just failed to pick up on it in the comics...
